Nebraska real estate license and CE requirements
What the Nebraska Real Estate Commission asks of licensees, with a link to the official source for every figure.
Last reviewed October 15, 2026. Next review due October 2027.
Nebraska asks for 18 hours every two years, but only 12 must be Commission-approved continuing education; up to 6 may be Commission-approved training instead. Within those 12, at least 6 must be designated subject courses the Nebraska Real Estate Commission marks with an R.
Extra obligations attach to particular roles. Anyone providing or supervising property management takes 3 hours of property management coursework each period, and team members, team leaders and supervising brokers complete 3 hours of team education within 180 days. Renewing before November 30 avoids a penalty.

Rules change. The Nebraska Real Estate Commission is the only authority on what you need to renew; where this page and the official source disagree, the official source is right. Blank figures say "Check with the Nebraska Real Estate Commission" because we could not confirm them from an official source.
