Questions from brokers
How do team seats work?+
You buy a number of seats, then give each one to an agent by entering their email on your team dashboard. Each agent gets an ordinary ACI account in their own name: their own sign-in, their own course progress, and a certificate and verification page with their own name on it.
What is the difference between an All-Access seat and a designation seat?+
An All-Access seat gives one agent every designation in the catalog for one year, starting the day you assign it, and keeps their credentials current during that year. A designation seat gives one agent one designation for good; its credential is valid for 12 months and then renews like anyone else's.
Can we pay by invoice?+
Yes, from 10 seats. Send the enquiry form with how many seats you need and we email an invoice payable within 30 days (NET-30). Smaller teams pay by card.
What can I see about each agent?+
For each agent on a seat: whether they have signed in, how far through the course they are, whether they have earned the credential, and whether it is current. You do not see their quiz answers, written work or exam answers. Agents are told this when they receive the seat.
Can I move a seat to a different agent?+
Yes, as long as the agent has not started: no unit completed, no quiz taken and no exam sat since you gave them the seat. Take it back from your dashboard and assign it to someone else. Once an agent has started, the seat is theirs.
Do unassigned seats expire?+
No. A seat waits on your dashboard until you assign it, and an All-Access seat's year starts on the day you do.
What if an agent already holds the designation?+
We never spend a seat on access the agent already has. The dashboard tells you, and the seat stays available for someone else.
Is this continuing education or a license?+
No. Agent Certification Institute issues voluntary professional designations. They are not a real estate license, do not count as state continuing-education credit, and are not affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS.
What if it is not right for us?+
