Nevada real estate license and CE requirements

What the Nevada Real Estate Division asks of licensees, with a link to the official source for every figure.

Last reviewed October 15, 2026. Next review due October 2027.

Nevada asks for 36 hours every two years, and at least half must be live instruction. The required list is long: agency, contracts (6 hours), ethics, Nevada law and legislation, and risk reduction, with brokers and broker-salespersons adding 6 hours of broker management.

A first Nevada license lasts only one year and is renewed with a 30-hour post-licensing course rather than standard CE; after that, renewals run two years. The Nevada Real Estate Division's site blocked direct access, so these figures come from search results on its own domain. Confirm them with the Division.

Rules change. The Nevada Real Estate Division is the only authority on what you need to renew; where this page and the official source disagree, the official source is right. Blank figures say "Check with the Nevada Real Estate Division" because we could not confirm them from an official source.
