Mississippi real estate license and CE requirements
What the Mississippi Real Estate Commission asks of licensees, with a link to the official source for every figure.

Mississippi asks for 16 hours of continuing education every two years, and its license law lets the commission prescribe up to 8 of those hours as required subjects. We could not confirm the current required topics, so check them with the Mississippi Real Estate Commission before you enroll.
New licensees in Mississippi start with a temporary license and complete a 30-hour post-license course within 12 months before a permanent license is issued. Those hours do not count as CE, but finishing the course exempts the licensee from the 16 hours at the first renewal of the permanent license. Our figures come from search results on the commission's own site.

Rules change. The Mississippi Real Estate Commission is the only authority on what you need to renew; where this page and the official source disagree, the official source is right. Blank figures say "Check with the Mississippi Real Estate Commission" because we could not confirm them from an official source.
