Massachusetts real estate license and CE requirements
What the Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons asks of licensees, with a link to the official source for every figure.

Massachusetts requires 12 hours of continuing education every two years for both salespersons and brokers, and in a renewal year the license renews on the licensee's birthday. The Board of Registration publishes the curriculum, built from modules designed to run about two hours each.
We could not load the Board's pages directly, so the figures here come from search results on mass.gov itself. Completing only part of the hours does not entitle anyone to an active Massachusetts license. Attorneys in good standing who hold a broker license are exempt.

Rules change. The Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons is the only authority on what you need to renew; where this page and the official source disagree, the official source is right. Blank figures say "Check with the Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons" because we could not confirm them from an official source.
